About the Role

Cabot Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Desktop Support Engineer to join our Digital Service Delivery Management team at our Altamira, Mexico facility.

This exciting opportunity requires a strong background in second-level IT technical support for desktops and IT equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and problem-solve issues on various technologies and local applications with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide second-level IT technical support for desktops and IT equipment at the site or remotely.
  • Diagnose and problem-solve issues on various technologies and local applications.
  • Resolve problems of medium complexity.
  • Assist with the coordination of regional activities and support digital projects & global initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of 2nd-level desktop support experience required.
  • High School Graduation is required.
  • Technical Certifications preferred: A+, Hardware/OEM warranty certifications, Microsoft certifications.
  • English language proficiency (reading, writing, and listening) and local language based on work location.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis skills; ability to use Root Cause Analysis techniques to trace problems to their source and find solutions.
  • Knowledge on ITIL Processes.
  • Knowledge on ticketing and monitoring tools (preferably ServiceNow or similar tool).
