**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Prodensa. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including general ledger and payables.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the company's treasury function, ensuring efficient cash flow and liquidity.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments, including production, import/export compliance, and human resources.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and systems to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax standards.
  • Establish and implement accounting procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and local CPA firms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present analysis of consolidated monthly reports, making recommendations for improving the company's financial position.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and associated documentation and processes.

**Requirements:**

  • 5 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing business.
  • Degree or professional license in finance or accounting.
  • Familiarity with Maquila style VAT/IVA and customs return filings, refund processes, and import/export incentive programs.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and implementation experience preferred.
