About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical review and analysis of code, architecture, requirements, and test cases
  • Perform unit/component testing for new implementations and changes in software
  • Analyze software requirements and design test cases using various methodologies and techniques
  • Conduct software qualification testing on a hardware test bench
  • Debug code and create detailed incident reports
  • Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and reproducible defect assessments

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a SW Test Engineer in the automotive industry
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required
  • Must have experience working with C Language
  • Proficient in unit/integration testing with simulated environments (White Box)
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GitHub)
  • Experience with software qualification testing in hardware environments (Gray Box/Black Box)
  • Knowledge of debugging tools for target systems (e.g., CubeSuite/WinIdea/Codewarrior)
  • Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, IIC, CAN) and electronics components

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
