Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Articulate the high-level business value of projects and ensure that technical concepts align with business objectives.
- Create and maintain documentation of APIs and technical user stories to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Approve technical concepts of realizations and ensure that they meet business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and recommend improvements to the team.
- Coordinate evaluation of tools and frameworks for the engineering team to ensure that they meet business needs.
- Analyze and understand flows and end-to-end interactions for a distributed system to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
- Good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential.
- Proficient knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Understanding of different programming methodologies (functional vs. object-oriented, imperative vs. declarative) and scenarios where each would be applicable.
- Ability to optimize SQL schemas and understand NoSQL solutions and trade-offs involved.
- Proficient in using version control systems, preferably Git.
- Proficient and capable of introducing and setting up CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Understanding and implementation of performance and security testing practices.
