Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable software systems using Javascript and related technologies.
  • Work closely with our team of engineers to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to define technical strategies and architectures for our software systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to junior engineers to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in web development with expertise in Javascript.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with expertise in CSS and building complex layouts.
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development with expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with building performant and responsive front-end components.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design patterns.
  • Passionate about writing clean, modern, and maintainable code.
  • Proactive ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.
  • Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience working in an Agile team.
  • Self-awareness and desire to continually improve.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PHP and at least one major framework such as Laravel, Phalcon, or Symfony.
  • Experience with TypeScript and at least one modern front-end web framework such as VueJS, Angular, or Svelte.
  • Experience with server-side rendering in either NodeJS, NextJS, or Hugo.
  • Experience in e-commerce engineering.
  • Experience with NextJS or Phoenix.
