Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Citi's Site Management discipline as an Infrastructure Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities, systems, and communications environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, relocate, and maintain all distributed systems, network hardware, and data center infrastructure.
  • Install and extend carrier circuits to network hardware, and relocate patch panels and cabling for systems and network hardware.
  • Assist with on-site validation of hardware, network, names, and ports, and manage network ports and consumable capacities.
  • Maintain the integrity of data center facilities, systems, and communications environments through general housekeeping practices, walk-throughs, and best operations practices.
  • Provide hands-on, break/fix level 2 support for data center systems and communications environments on a 7x24 basis.
  • Answer and validate incoming calls to our hot-line for Data Center Access and break-fix reports.
  • Review, analyze, and validate Trellis tracks for all devices installed at the Data Center.
  • Actively participate in conference calls for new projects and initiatives.
  • Assign rack location for new Carrier devices at Telco Rooms.
  • Perform cabling tests with Fluke Network devices, and ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and processes.
  • Manage CTI-approved third-party vendors in support of local business service commitments.
  • Provide clear and detailed turnover to next shift workers for continuity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
