Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Michael Page International México Reclutamiento Especializado S.A. De C.V. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Procurement Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  2. Craft Negotiation Strategies: Develop and execute negotiation plans to secure profitable deals with suppliers.
  3. Cost and Scenario Analysis: Regularly perform cost and scenario analysis to ensure optimal procurement decisions.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.
  5. Demand Forecasting: Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to inform procurement decisions.
  6. Procurement Department Budgeting: Create and manage procurement department budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  7. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
  8. Supplier Performance Oversight: Oversee supplier performance to ensure contract terms are fulfilled.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.
  2. Procurement Experience: Minimum of 6 years in buyer/procurement areas.
