Bounteous x Accolite is seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance
  • Onboard new applications by building CI/CD pipelines from existing templates
  • Document runbooks and perform routine testing of runbooks
  • Work with developers on issues by reviewing logs, dashboards, and other monitoring tools
  • Participate in larger projects and efforts with the team by taking on tasks related to improvements and new initiatives
  • Research new tools and occasionally work on proof of concepts
  • Contribute to our Infrastructure as Code repositories for Terraform and Ansible
  • Test automation routinely and help improve documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience with Linux fundamentals such as scripting, system tuning, and operations
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical role
  • Experience with some CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Dockerized applications
  • 3+ years working with AWS Cloud
  • Experience with monitoring applications in AWS and Kubernetes

Preferred:

  • Cloud, Linux, or Networking certifications (verifiable and not expired)
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python
  • Computer Science background
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, and CloudFormation, with experience in migrations to microservices
  • Knowledge of Hashicorp products (nomad, vault, terraform, consul)
