Eaton's VEH NAA North America Auto division is currently seeking a highly skilled EHS Engineer to join their team.

**Job Summary**:

We are looking for a talented EHS Engineer to ensure plant-level EHS programs, policies, procedures, and systems are developed, implemented, and sustained to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton Corporation mandates.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and maintain chemical emergency response plans and ensure drills are performed to document plan effectiveness. May serve as the plant emergency coordinator.

2. Evaluate proposed projects and proposed new chemicals and ensure plans are in-place and implemented to address EHS compliance issues.

3. Support and implement the plant's ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).

4. Ensure required employee EHS training is completed on-time and documented. May perform training.

5. Develop and implement plant programs, policies, and procedures to conform to Eaton EHS mandates, such as MESH, ISO 14001, PASST, and Industria Limpia.

6. Investigate EHS incidents/accidents to determine root causes and prepare and implement corrective action plans.

7. Lead Energy Management initiatives in the site aligned to MESH CAT 2.

**Requirements:**

1. Comprehension of industry/state/country-specific environmental, health, and safety requirements.

2. Thorough knowledge and training for EHS systems development and deployment.

3. Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes.

4. Four (4) year degree in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial hygiene, safety, or equivalent.

5. Management systems/international standards (ISO, OSHA).

6. Good level of English.

2. Experience with communicating with regulatory agencies.
