• Provide input and support in different categories, including packaging, transportation, and R&D, to ensure timely sourcing of materials and coordination with manufacturing locations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through price negotiation, developing alternate sources, and global consolidation.
• Monitor and track cost savings against targets, and implement action plans to close gaps.
• Support procurement-related audits, procedural maintenance, documentation control, supplier evaluation, and new vendor creation.
• Monitor service levels and performance of key vendors to ensure business continuity.
• Support negotiations with transportation vendors, analyzing spend and Service Level KPIs.
• Conduct indirect procurement activities to support local plants, including manufacturing and distribution centers.
• Professional work experience: 3-5 years in a procurement-related environment.
• University degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business.
• Knowledge of logistics and customs regulations.
• Flexibility to work with stakeholders and cross-functionally in different locations and time zones.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Cross-functional team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work with complex structures and lead teams.
