Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement ME-Ops Strategies: Define, develop, and implement manufacturing engineering operations strategies that contribute to business development and our company's strategic directions.
- Cost Reduction and Optimization: Identify creative ways to reduce costs by managing equipment supplier relationships, surplus equipment, and spare parts, as well as implementing optimized processes and systems.
- Departmental Cost Monitoring: Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.
- Procurement and Supplier Management: Manage the procurement of department equipment, tools, software, and global ME equipment suppliers, documenting supplier performance relating to cost, delivery, technical support, and spare parts.
- Global B2B Data Management: Manage global B2B data for up-to-date accuracy.
- ME Equipment Obsolescence Management: Manage global ME equipment obsolescence.
- WW Capability Matrix ME Input: Manage WW capability matrix ME input for consistent updating.
- Technology Management: Schedule consistent technology management meetings with suppliers.
- Procedure Development: Develop global ME procedures for key processes relating to ME responsibilities.
- Training and Development: Develop key training tools, documents, and procedures for global use by MEs.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of the ME-Ops team through reporting, analysis, and consistent management of team performance.
- Knowledge Sharing: Exchange knowledge and documentation with Jabil facilities worldwide to ensure information is shared throughout the organization.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate a commitment to customer service, anticipating, meeting, and exceeding expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively.
- Adherence to Safety and Security Policies: Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Knowledge Requirements: Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills are required.
