We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post daily revenues and banking documents.
• Reconcile, review and submit quarterly and or monthly VAT.
• Review all payments and submit for bank load and approval.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile PAYE payments to payroll software and ensure HRMC portal managed.
• Manage the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotels is preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of the basic accounting functions.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to analyse P&L statements, apply timeliness and accuracy in recording and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
