Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Unit Leader to join our team at ZF Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the production unit management team and ensuring the delivery of operational performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the production unit management team to achieve operational performance targets.
- Develop and implement lean management and continuous improvement strategies to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure the availability and deployment of assets (manpower, equipment, and materials) to support production unit operations.
- Coach and mentor production unit leadership to develop a diverse and result-oriented organization.
- Drive the organization to achieve operational performance targets, including safety performance, quality performance, customer delivery performance, production volumes, manufacturing costs, productivity, working capital, profit, and cash.
- Develop and implement a long-term vision for the production unit, supported by a detailed production unit roadmap.
- Collaborate with customers, product lines, and other functions to establish and maintain reliable relationships.
- Lead new product launches and transfers within the production unit.
- Create a safe and sustainable work environment within the production unit.
Requirements:
- Lean management and lean manufacturing experience.
- 5+ years of solid working experience in operations and relevant functions.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Transformation competence and organizational development skills.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Business/finance management acumen.
- Results-oriented.
