Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Door Attendant to join our team at Marriott International. As a Door Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing directions and information about local amenities and services.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, ice and vending areas, in-room safes, and valet laundry services.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
  • Supply guests with directions and arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation requests as needed.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
