Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and monitor Process Performance Metrics (PPM) and Reliability and Failure Trends Yield (RFTY) charts.
- Validate first pieces for New Product Introduction (NPI) runs and regular production builds.
- Attend and participate in internal and system audits.
- Answer and review internal 8D reports.
- Drive failure analysis with process/product engineers.
- Generate reports for non-conforming materials.
- Support production lines on quality issues.
- Follow up and conciliate customer reports related to Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Generate quality alerts and material segregation for non-conforming material.
- Fulfill corrective actions in Sanmina's task tracker.
- Support customer Quality Engineers to gather information for customer 8Ds and Design of Experiments (DOAs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Minitab knowledge.
- Core Tools certification.
- White, Yellow, Blue, or Green Belt certification.
