About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer - QA Automation to join our team at Levio Consulting.


This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading professional services company in Canada, specializing in digital transformation, and contribute to the development of next-gen insurance products.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate in a cross-functional environment to design and develop software that supports the roll out of next-gen insurance products
  • Challenging conventional software delivery norms by driving and improving Agile best practices
  • Enhance the core platform to support emergent digital technologies

Requirements:



  • Strong experience in Automation testing
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated, highly driven
  • Agile/Scrum experienced
  • Understands OOP and has experience with OOP test development and Data Driven test development
  • Strong understanding of REST API Request/Response transactions
  • Experience with Java 8, plus if Java 11 fluent
  • Strong programming/scripting experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins experience preferred)
  • Experience writing SQL queries (Oracle DB experience preferred)
  • Experience with JIRA, GIT and Bitbucket
  • Bachelor's Degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • English proficiency
  • Valid work permit for US or Canada
