Responsibilities
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for:
- Identifying new areas of growth through thorough research, such as wholesalers, e-Commerce, alternate markets, Catalog companies, and Corporate/Government opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with customers and developing and maintaining a strategic plan for all key accounts, including specific product and pricing strategies unique to that account.
- Developing and delivering presentations to customers for line review and business reviews.
- Formulating and executing strategic business plans to identify areas of targeted growth and expansion potential.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of sales or account management experience working with retailers.
- Customer focus and energy, with the ability to energize teams with enthusiasm and excitement without intimidating them.
- A competitive edge and a willingness to make difficult decisions when called upon.
- Action-oriented and focused on attaining results, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to talk, read, write, and understand Spanish and English.
