**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Engineering Specialist to join our team at Iap Worldwide Services, Inc. As a Telecommunications Engineering Specialist, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 service desk support, including answering and recording all incoming calls, taking ownership of problems until full resolution, and providing solutions as practicable over the telephone.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical support for telecommunications systems and equipment
- Determine the functional area of the problem being reported, e.g. hardware, software, telecommunications
- Provide follow-up to the user on the status of the problem until resolution
- Verify problem resolution prior to closure
- Record details of each service outage and/or incident in a Government designated trouble-ticket management system and assign a priority level to each trouble-ticket received
- Maintain a current inventory of all 403d TFSB hardware and software on the NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIXS-K network
- Provide Inventories at the request of the S6 government representative as identified by the COR
**Requirements**:
- SECRET, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC with SSBI T5 initiated
