Key Responsibilities- Review customer requirements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to generate executable system concepts.
- Lead team members in creating 3D models and generating proposal drawings to achieve concept freeze.
- Produce material lists and project scope of work summaries.
- Submit quote requests and validate vendor quotes in conjunction with procurement teams.
- Apply standard subsystems, designs, and modules to solutions where appropriate.
- Identify project risks and assist in generating mitigation strategies.
- Establish priorities and promote effective interaction between departments.
- Lead technical review and pricing reviews.
- Create cost breakouts and bridging as required.
- Responsible for all project engineering efforts for assigned projects.
- 5+ years of experience in the field.
- Mechatronic engineering expertise.
- Systems engineering knowledge.
- Application engineering and industrial engineering skills.
- Bulk handling experience (preferred).
- Case conveyor and PLC control systems expertise (preferred).
- WMS/WCS software knowledge.
- Linear sortation and crossbelt sortation experience.
- ASRS and unit load expertise.
- Structural experience.
- Pallet conveyor and monorail knowledge.
- Simulation and autostore experience.
