Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Manager to lead our Technical Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding the team responsible for the fulfillment of technical asset management contracts for solar and storage projects, providing engineering consulting services, and engineering support for solar and storage project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the fulfillment of technical requirements of the Asset Management contracts by direct reports, including evaluation of technical performance of client sites, identification of data and performance issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement technical asset management services for energy storage contracts, including evaluation of energy storage contracts, design of energy storage charts and tables, and determination of relevant requirements and metrics to track O&M provider performance.
  • Provide consulting services, including drawing and design review, construction and commissioning consulting services, and performance analysis of underperforming sites.
  • Lead the creation of new standard operating procedures, draft and review technical analyses, reports, and presentations, and mentor and coach engineers on the technical asset management team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of solar/renewable energy experience, with management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related energy field from a four-year university.
  • Strong proficiency in speaking and writing English, with experience reviewing project agreements and terms a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a U.S.-based company is preferred.
