About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems using best practices in quality engineering and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust software systems using industry-standard frameworks and tools
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective use of metrics and data-driven decision making
  • Ensure high levels of availability by monitoring system performance and responding quickly to any issues or incidents

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a software developer or equivalent
  • Experience working with Java programming language and relevant frameworks
  • Experience working with databases like SQL Server
  • Knowledge of version control tools like GitLab
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of problems
