Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of our IS/IT strategy, working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Champion IS/IT product/project portfolio goals and objectives, both company-wide and enterprise-wide.
  • Lead reviews of significant portfolio elements on a periodic basis and as needed, providing visibility on trends and forecasts versus plans.
  • Apply external and internal factors and best practices to portfolio formulation and development.
  • Make recommendations on the balance of required investments and capabilities across teams within the product/project portfolio.
  • Assist teams in other departments with data (dashboards or reports) to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to governance functions relating to the Product/Project Portfolio and enterprise guidelines, policies, and practices.
  • Oversee and coordinate dependencies across elements in the Product/Project Portfolio, resolving or escalating conflicts as needed.
  • Support Product/Project Managers and pool leads in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resources engaged with initiatives within the IS/IT Program Product/Project Portfolio.
  • Maintain an up-to-date portfolio structure and plans that meet the IS/IT strategy and needs of the organization.
  • Direct the creation and maintenance of the required portfolio management capability, including artifacts, awareness, and process material.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide visibility and transparency to key stakeholders in the enterprise on the IS/IT portfolio value and plans.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of senior leadership, enterprise architecture, and Product/Project managers toward the establishment of the Product/Project portfolio definition, its structure, and investments.
  • Engage with and conduct quarterly reviews with senior Product/Project Managers, Business Relationship Managers, and other relevant bodies to validate and assess the Product/Project Portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of communications and reporting around the IS/IT portfolio and sub-portfolios, their contents, and the individual performance of initiatives to IS/IT and business stakeholders and/or governance boards.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major IS/IT projects and programs, ideally with portfolio management experience.
  • Strong experience with data management and data reporting (analysis, extraction, and consolidation).
  • Proficient in Excel and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience managing upward among senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in strategic prioritization and complex governance initiatives.
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
  • Portuguese language is a plus.
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
