Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Business Development Director to lead our operations in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management and business development, with a proven track record of driving growth and expansion.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that reports directly to the Regional President. As Global Sales and Business Development Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, expand our customer base, and increase revenue.

You will work closely with both regional and global headquarters to set up mid- and long-term strategies, ensuring the further growth of the business and achievement of sales and profit targets.

The role requires a strong multichannel sales structure for a large product portfolio, representing the Kärcher brand in front of a highly diverse customer base and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elevate the business to the next level by enhancing a strong multichannel sales structure for a large product portfolio.
  • Represent the Kärcher brand in front of a highly diverse customer base and partners.
  • Work closely with both regional and global headquarters to set up mid- and long-term strategies.
  • Ensure the further growth of the business and achievement of sales and profit targets.
  • Take over responsibility for P&L and all operations, including budget and forecasts.
  • Develop future leadership and succession planning within the organization.
  • Build up a strong communication channel at every level of the organization and promote the organization's culture and shared values.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Several years' of experience in senior-level general or sales management positions in international matrixed organizations.
  • A proven and successful sales track record (ideally in B2B, retail, and/or online channels) as well as operational and strategic exposure in commercial durable businesses.
  • Strategic thinking and acting: ability to understand the strategic needs of the market, anticipate changing trends, and respond to opportunities and threats.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • An empathic leadership style with a focus on professional development, collaboration, and coaching.
  • An outgoing personality, high analytical skills, a self-starting attitude, and a strong desire to add value to the organization.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a company car, medical and life insurance, saving fund, food coupons, Christmas bonus, and vacation prime above law.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around 1 million USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
