The Siemens Energy team is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Senior Specialist to join our Gas Services Business Unit in Mexico City. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Quality and Risk Management programs and practices across Latin America.
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Risk Management Senior Specialist, you will have a dynamic and challenging role, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of Quality Risk Management programs. You will conduct risk assessments, develop and implement risk mitigation plans, and monitor and review risk management activities to ensure the effectiveness of implemented controls and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of Quality Risk Management programs in alignment with company-wide processes, best practices, and improvement initiatives to achieve non-conformance reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, estimate risks, and evaluate risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to minimize risks and ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and review risk management activities to ensure the effectiveness of implemented controls and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in identifying and addressing quality-related risks and facilitate risk management training and workshops to enhance risk awareness and foster a culture of quality.
- Support the organization in monitoring quality metrics and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives, including risk management strategies.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Computing, Technology, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification desirable.
- Professional experience: 5+ years with Risk Management and/or Quality Management experience, preferably in the Energy Sector, addressing technical and business risks.
- Strong knowledge of quality risk management principles, methodologies, and tools, including FMEA and Ishikawa diagrams.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies, with a proven understanding of advanced Root Cause Analysis tools.
- Digital and IT savvy, with strong organizational abilities and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a curious mindset and a data-oriented approach to continuous improvement.
- English and Spanish at professional working proficiency level. Portuguese desirable.
- Professional certifications related to quality management, such as Six Sigma, ASQ, or RAPS, are desirable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time.
