We are currently expanding our Engineering team in Mexico and are seeking a skilled Consultant Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your engineering background to help clients mitigate potential risks and protect their assets.
Responsibilities
As a Consultant Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating the integrity and reliability of equipment to identify potential hazards and deficiencies.
- Utilizing industry standards and guidelines to provide risk guidance and implement best practices.
- Preparing engineering reports and loss expectancies to support risk improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations Engineering, Client Services, and Underwriting, to develop recommendations.
- Traveling to client sites to evaluate operations and identify risks and hazards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a concentration in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
- Previous work experience in a related field is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding basic machinery and equipment, as well as hands-on exposure.
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
- A valid B1/B2 USA visa.
