Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise maintenance work instructions for assigned areas, utilizing e-WorkStation and PM+.
  • Design and execute preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring all tasks are current in PM+.
  • Educate and mentor production teams on effective preventive maintenance practices.
  • Guarantee the availability of equipment and tooling documentation.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for implemented standards.
  • Establish standards for spare parts supply and inventory management, and assist in sourcing maintenance suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Safety network to ensure compliance with Health & Safety directives and building safety protocols.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Lead initiatives to enhance Maintenance KPIs (e.g., TRP, breakdown percentages, micro-stoppages, MTTR, MTBF), optimizing equipment availability for production.
  • Implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, including obsolescence management and backup systems.
  • Engage in performance monitoring and improvement activities, such as cycle time assessments and micro-stoppage analysis.
  • Participate in Maintenance and ERIM workshops, promoting continuous improvement practices.
  • Contribute to Maintenance QRQC and weekly TPM/TRP progress discussions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues, providing support for significant technical challenges.
  • Facilitate PDCA/FTA and Maintenance 5 WHYs on assigned topics from the Maintenance Manager.
  • Prepare LLC and Kaizen Cards to document improvements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment, adhering to IProM procedures and safety validations.
  • Engage in EHS and productivity enhancement projects.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Continuously develop troubleshooting skills, including safety protocols, and document lessons learned.
  • Contribute to process and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Actively work to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Define and implement strategies to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.
  • Engage in the SAP PM+ implementation project, ensuring effective utilization of the system.
  • Propose enhancements to the Maintenance Organization and its performance metrics.
  • Assist in preparing the maintenance budget and suggest organizational improvements.
  • Lead efforts to minimize overall maintenance costs as part of the P-30 initiative.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing network to prepare annual contracts for critical spare parts and associated overheads.
