Job Summary

As the In Room Dining Department Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the In Room Dining Department to ensure guest satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and coach employees to meet established cultural and core standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's In Room Dining Department.
  • Provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs to design effective menu and amenity options.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by RLH Properties to manage Rosewood Mandarina, a luxury resort located in the Riviera Nayarit region of Mexico. The resort will offer 138 guest-rooms, suites, and villas with panoramic views, as well as three bars and restaurants, a spa, and event space.
