Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects through their complete life cycle, ensuring alignment with Canonical's goals and client expectations.
- Deliver engineering professional services for assigned projects, working closely with engineering teams and customers.
- Develop project statements of work, schedules, and plans, and obtain client agreement on project scope and timelines.
- Manage project risk mitigation and plans, driving technical issues to desired delivery outcomes.
- Maintain daily and weekly communication with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of critical third-party deliverables.
- Identify custom engineering requests not covered by existing business contracts and advocate for Canonical's product portfolio.
- Solid project management experience in delivering engineering services to customers, managing software development teams and field engineers.
- Extensive experience managing projects with cross-cultural and multi-continent resources, preferably with resources in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
- Educational degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
- Good knowledge of Linux and the Open Source Software community, and understanding of computer architecture.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
