About the Job

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery (ECS) requires a skilled Linux and Cloud Systems Expert to join our team in Mexico City or Monterrey. As a key member of our Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the 24/7 availability of our SAP systems running in SAP ECS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and configure our cloud platform based on Linux operating systems in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, as well as in SAP data centers.
  • Support our team in standardizing and simplifying server operations using software tools and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline standard operating procedures through automation and continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way.
  • Provide L3 expert support for all Linux OS and infra customer issues.
  • Ensure stability and reliability of the environment to run business-critical systems of our customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
  • 7+ years of experience in at least one of the public cloud administrations – Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Very good communication and networking skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Very good English language skills.

What You'll Bring

You will bring your expertise in Linux based server operating systems, networking experience with the suite of TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls, and experience with network services like DNS and LDAP and HTTP proxies.
