Job Summary

We are seeking a Recreation Attendant to join our team at the Ixtapan de la Sal Marriott Hotel & Spa. As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for encouraging, recruiting, registering, and scheduling guests to participate in recreation activities. You will promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, provide information about available recreation facilities and activities, and ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage and recruit guests to participate in recreation activities
  • Register and schedule guests for recreation activities
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members
  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales
Requirements
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
