**Job Summary**

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide advisory support to management and employees on all HR-related matters. This role will be based in Mexico and will oversee all local HR responsibilities and activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including HRIS entry, systems/laptop procurement, initiating internal system access, Payroll set up, exit interviews, and benefit enrollment and termination.

- Partner with our Payroll vendor to ensure accuracy of payments made for salary and variable compensation.

- Maintain office services for the Mexico headquarters by organizing office operations and procedures, including controlling internal communications, managing corporate events, and recording employee bill-backs and cross-charging.

- Responsible for HR administrative processes related to benefits, HRIS, Leaves of Absence, Vacation Pay, and Sick Leave.

- Work closely with Corporate HR, the Country Manager, and management to improve engagement, morale, productivity, and retention.

- Support the Americas Internship Program by working closely with the Talent and Engagement Specialist as well as local hiring managers to fill approved opportunities.

- Manage local recruiting strategies in support of Altair's customer needs; provide recommendations to Country Manager and Hiring Manager for recruiting and retention of talent.

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local, legal requirements related to daily employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory & audit compliance. Work closely with local legal advisors on complex employee issues.

**Requirements**

- Minimum 2 years professional experience within Human Resources or related HR Service function.

- Background in HR competencies: recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, etc.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field.
