About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Supervisor to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our infrastructure consulting firm, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment on our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of technical personnel and contractors involved in electromechanical installations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- System Evaluation: Regularly inspect and evaluate electromechanical systems to ensure their efficient and safe operation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other supervisors and project managers to ensure that electromechanical activities align with overall construction schedules and the needs of other teams.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve technical and operational problems, providing effective and quick solutions to minimize downtime and guarantee project continuity.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and manage the supply and installation of electromechanical equipment, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to project schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with national regulations and international standards, monitoring and reporting on quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
- Change Management: Identify and document change orders, working with project stakeholders to implement changes and minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Interference Resolution: Coordinate and resolve interferences for the installation of pipeline banks and underground facilities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present technical and progress reports to project management, detailing the status of electromechanical installations and any challenges or suggested improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial projects, with a proven track record of managing electromechanical installations and teams.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems, excellent communication and project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
