A leading global healthcare company, Medline Industries is dedicated to providing high-quality medical supplies and services. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing positive employee relations initiatives
  • Coaching employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Assisting management in maintaining positive employee relations
  • Partnering with HR management on investigations and resolving employee issues
  • Conducting exit interviews and providing feedback to management
  • Representing the company at unemployment hearings
  • Working with local managers to determine training needs
  • Compiling data and analyzing past and current year training requirements
  • Recommending training programs and utilization to support employee and management development
  • Ensuring effective new employee on-boarding process
  • Ensuring internal consistency and worth in administering job evaluations and compensation programs
  • Facilitating organization development and job evaluation processes
  • Assisting local managers with salary and wage administration
  • Ensuring HR operations are operating in accordance with federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Supporting affirmative action programs
  • Auditing and maintaining current work authorizations
  • Supporting the leave of absence process
  • Assisting managers with administration of Worker's Compensation policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience demonstrating knowledge of HR practices, legal rules and regulations
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing or holding a PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
