Job Summary

We are seeking a ServerRack Validation Engineer to join our Cloud Service Provider (CSP) group. As a key member of our technical validation team, you will work with cutting-edge companies and technologies, implementing and delivering customized validation services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team of diverse experience and technical knowledge.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for storage servers.
  • Effectively execute testing based on a test plan for storage nodes, racks, and scales.
  • Research and recommend future validation improvements.
  • Communicate with project teams and development teams to deliver information to the testing team.
  • Plan and control test schedules and resources.
  • Manage and track defect status and debug issues.
  • Analyze failures and identify root causes.
  • Highlight project risks, critical defects, and report testing status.
Requirements
  • First cycle university degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of directly related hardware design validation/test engineering experience.
  • +2 years of experience in validation within technology companies.
  • Experience in testing related to servers and/or storage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Routing and Switching Networking Knowledge (CCNA).
  • Knowledge of scripting in Python and/or Power Shell.
  • Familiarity with Storage/Server Testing Framework, Stability and Performance Testing Methodology, Reliability Testing Methodology, and FW Testing Methodology.
  • Knowledge of server hardware from a single node to a rack.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively.
