Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager (Metal Mechanical) to join our team at Flex in Guadalajara, North Campus. As a key member of our Quality Compliance team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the site's Quality Compliance team to ensure conformance to all regulatory and quality systems requirements.
  • Perform internal audits and review results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Verify compliance and conformance to regulatory and quality systems requirements, including customer and Flex mandated requirements.
  • Engage in external audit processes with customers, regulatory agencies, and government agencies.
  • Verify the proper implementation and effectiveness of applicable regulations, standards, policies, directives, and level 1 procedures.
  • Provide support to areas requiring help to implement regulatory and quality requirements into their processes.
  • Execute the formation of regulatory and quality systems skilled employees.
  • Develop internal and external audit programs.
  • Prepare audit plans and related audit checklists.
  • Execute audits according to the plan, prepare audit reports, and maintain all audit-related records.
Requirements
  • BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent English.
  • Demonstrates expert functional, technical, and people and/or process management skills, as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates detailed expertise in complex functional/technical areas or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
