Data Governance Specialist

At Incept Data Solutions, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing standard policies for onboarding data into environments globally. You will work closely with the Data Ecosystem team to manage standards and ensure adherence to defined data management and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute standard policy for onboarding all in scope data into environments globally.
  • Work with Data Ecosystem team to manage standards and ensure adherence.
  • Responsible for the promotion of data accuracy and adherence to defined data management and governance practices.
  • Maintain and advise relevant stakeholders on data governance-related matters.
  • Coordinate across the organization to maintain consistency of critical enterprise, digital, operational, and analytical data.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG company or similar industry.
  • Strong data management background with understanding of data, data ingestion, data quality, and stewardship.
  • Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ, Reference 360) and Intermediate - Advanced Excel experience preferred.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc).
