Costing Specialist

The Financial Analyst - Cost Optimization will report directly to the Costing Manager and work closely with upper management to develop and maintain pricing models, revenue projections, and analysis. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring cost accounting, bill of material audits, inventory reconciliations, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cost accounting activities including standard cost development, average pricing analysis, margin and cost ratio analysis, inventory control, variance analysis, etc.
• Work with the purchasing and production teams to ensure bills of materials (BOM) are accurate and up-to-date; review and audit BOMs to ensure they reflect the latest practices.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist in designing and preparing reports to communicate financial information to management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Act as a liaison and gatekeeper between internal departments and company sales representatives; provide relevant information necessary to carry out their responsibilities.
• Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements:

• Experience in cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
