Responsibilities- Utilize system to generate and adjust purchase orders in support of MRP requirements and effectively communicates areas of concern to appropriate departments, individuals, and suppliers.
- Interface within a cross-functional team regularly meeting with Program Management, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
- Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
- Assist with the maintenance of MRP system purchasing data and its integrity.
- Support the preparation, analysis, and/or publishing of purchasing-related metrics, reports, and scorecards.
- Prepare, contribute, analyze, and/or publish purchasing related metrics, reports, and scorecards.
- Help monitor and review production plan often to ensure we meet On-Time delivery requirements for our customers/product builds.
- Ensure SYSPRO parameters are maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety, and current inventory levels; making recommendations to management for adjustments to levels per need.
- Create and manage work orders through an ERP system; responsible for the proper configuration, planning, and documentation of products and processes manufactured at Vexos. Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that supplier is aware of their performance.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results to meet tight deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Spanish)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- APICS / CPIM Certification Course
- Knowledge of MRP / ERP
- Principles or fundamentals of supply chain (planning module)
