Position Overview

As a Tour Conductor for PURAVENTURA, you will guide our clients through their journey of exploring the stunning landscapes of Mexico, transforming their trip into an extraordinary lifetime experience. You will collaborate with a team of enthusiastic Tour Conductors and report directly to our Tour Guide Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary host and guide for a small group of senior travelers (6-12 people) during a comprehensive 2-3 week tour across Mexico.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of travelers, providing leadership and maintaining a seamless tour experience.
  • Adhere closely to the established travel itinerary, making adjustments only when absolutely necessary.
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations, following protocols and offering flexible solutions as needed.
  • Ensure that services provided by our partners align with our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Monitor daily expenses, retain receipts, and manage costs within the specified trip budget.
  • Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, treating clients as friends and ensuring their journey is the best experience possible.
  • Share enjoyable moments with travelers from German or French-speaking countries.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in German (C2 level) for effective communication with clients, along with fluency in Spanish.
  • Possession of an Official Guide ID from Mexico.
  • Certification in First Aid (CPR and Heimlich maneuver).
  • Extensive knowledge of Mexico as a travel destination, with a passion for showcasing its beauty.
  • Interest in sustainable, local, and authentic travel experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and engaging personality.
  • Good health, high energy, and a positive attitude to manage the demands of long, active days.
  • Familiarity with internet usage, email communication, and Google platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Previous experience as a Tour Conductor, particularly in Mexico.
