Finishing Packing Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Finishing Packing Specialist at Kronospan, you will be responsible for performing all tasks involved in packaging MDF/HDF products through the safe operation of packaging and banding equipment according to required specifications. You will also perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the area of responsibility. Additionally, you will identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate the proper corrective action, and assist maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:

Key qualifications for this role include the ability to read and comprehend work instructions of a technical nature, operate or learn to operate heavy machinery, work with electric, pneumatic, or hand tools, be trained and become certified to operate a forklift, comprehend and manipulate metric measurements, work effectively with other members of the facility team, work without constant supervision, creatively problem-solve, individually or as part of a group, work in extreme heat and cold, and meet physical requirements.
