Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled APQP Engineer to join our team at Lear Corporation. As an APQP Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the APQP process in our Piedras Negras Campus, ensuring successful launches and transfers on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the APQP process, driving and escalating any issues that may impact the process and deliveries to customers.
- Manage compliance with APQP system procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Upload information to the SQMS system, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
- Completed university studies in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an APQP/Launch Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, Core Tools, DFMEA, PFMEA, and GD&T.
- Advanced quality knowledge and strong communication skills.
- Bilingual, with conversational and written English skills at an advanced level.
