Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automatic machines and processes for high volume production, utilizing your knowledge of lean manufacturing, robotics, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with automation technicians to ensure the assembly and quality of the automatic equipment meet design standards.
- Support purchasing and sourcing teams in selecting components that meet design standards.
- Develop efficient testing methods to ensure manufactured products meet performance criteria.
- Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, and codes.
- Provide technical support and customer service to manufacturing sites and the industrialization team.
- Research competitor products and collaborate with product development teams to enhance Schneider Electric products.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- More than 2-4 years of experience in customized design of automatic machines and processes for high volume production.
- Strong knowledge of CAD modeling, drawings, and machine design.
- Experience with Creo parametric and CAE software is a plus.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, and environmental standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and Spanish.
- Ability to stay current with advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
