As a Business Objects Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our BO architecture documentation, administration, upgrade, and patching support. You'll promote reports, universes, and users along with security settings from lower to higher-level environments following Change Management processes.
**Your New Role:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Maintain BO architecture documentation, administration, upgrade, and patching support.
2. Promote reports, universes, and users along with security settings from lower to higher-level environments following Change Management processes.
3. Create access levels (Developer, Reporter, Viewer, etc.) based on project and business needs.
4. Track, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve End User incidents and tickets; resolve customer issues within the service level agreements.
5. Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices.
6. Build custom WEBI and Crystal reports on demand basis.
**Qualifications & Experiences:**
We're looking for a highly skilled Business Objects Administrator with:
1. Three (3) or more years in BO Administration of Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform to include the latest 4.3 software version.
2. Two (2) or more years of experience in designing & building WEBI and Crystal reports in a Business Objects environment.
3. Experience with integrating BO with multiple SAP-based platforms (ECC; BW; CRM; S/4 HANA; BW/4 HANA; SCM; GRC; Fiori and SAP Portal; etc).
4. Experience with Oracle, DB2 and other enterprise-level databases.
5. Experience in BO Universe and report design.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
7. Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties.
8. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
9. Strong analytical and technical communication skills.
10. Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
11. Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
12. Must be able to work well under time constraints.
13. Willingness to learn new technologies at an accelerated pace.
14. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
15. Must be service-oriented.
16. Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
17. Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary.
18. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
**Nice to Have:**
We're also looking for experience with:
1. Understanding of BW data loads using process chains.
2. Working knowledge of BW backend building blocks, including info-providers, transformation, and data transfer process.
3. Support experience with Bex queries and AO workbooks.
4. Knowledge of information broadcasting and reports bursting.
5. First-level support for BI reporting (Bex/AO workbooks) experience, such as the concept of hierarchy, filter, and slice and dice of the reports to derive the desired result for business need.
6. Experience with BO-AWS Cloud-based connectivity and integration points.
7. Experience with Linux or other UNIX variants such as IBM AIX.
8. Corporate Information Security certification.
9. SAP BO Administrator and/or other certifications.
10. Experience with AWS.
11. Oral/Written fluency in Other Non-English languages.
