About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Senior Manager to lead our Record to Report (RTR) activities, ensuring quality and timeliness of core accounting processes. This role will deliver key Controllership objectives while supporting the Mission & Vision of Carrier Corporation Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee global RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage and report on global control activities, including support of internal and external audit activities.
  • Own and deliver on global RTR projects to streamline activities and deliver best practices for RTR COE.
  • Communicate and influence key internal and external business partners, including BPO partners.
  • Own the transformation of accounting and controls processes for Carrier RTR COE activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing, and compliance activities for complex RTR processes.
  • Transform programs and processes to consolidate activities and standardize across multiple Segments.
  • Analyze complex activities across Segments, along with review and analysis of global balance sheet accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications

Language skills:

  • Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (written and verbal).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with experience of 8+ years in accounting roles (preferably RTR).
  • OR Post-graduate Degree in a related field with experience of 5+ years in accounting roles (preferably RTR).
  • 4+ years of experience in management or leadership roles to lead project teams.

Availability:

  • Required to commute to Santa Catarina.
  • Full-time availability (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon-Fri).

Preferred, but not required:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in global projects or implementations.
