As a Thermoplastic Molding Specialist at TE Connectivity, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of new thermoplastic injection molds. Your expertise in tooling and plastics engineering will enable you to design and build molds that meet our high-quality standards.
With a strong background in CREO 3.0 or SOLIDWORKS 2016, you will create precise designs and specifications for prototype and production molds. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal and external suppliers will be essential in ensuring the successful integration of these molds into our manufacturing processes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including the launch of new thermoplastic injection molds for the Automotive Division of the Transportations Solutions business unit. You will also be responsible for creating RFQs and mold specifications for prototype and production molds.
Responsibilities- Design and build thermoplastic injection molds that meet TE's high-quality standards
- Create precise designs and specifications for prototype and production molds using CREO 3.0 or SOLIDWORKS 2016
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure the successful integration of molds into manufacturing processes
- Work on various projects, including the launch of new thermoplastic injection molds
