Job Overview

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer Senior - Diagnostics & Product Validation is a critical role within the Bosch organization, responsible for developing and fixing issues related to diagnostic features implemented for AUTOSAR, QNX, or Android domains. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of requirements to ensure accurate implementation of diagnostic features.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with various project teams to ensure seamless integration of diagnostic features.
  • Diagnostic Feature Design: Design diagnostic features using UML, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Implementation and Testing: Implement diagnostic features in C/C++ and create unit tests to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Test Design and Execution: Design and execute tests on target hardware to ensure diagnostic features function as intended.
  • Build and Release: Build and release diagnostic features in accordance with established processes.
  • Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and resolve issues related to diagnostic features.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication
    • Proficient in English (Speak, Read, Write)
    • Strong C/C++ programming skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Self-driven and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Software Test Designer skills
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with Linux
    • Knowledge in Diagnostic Log and Trace (DLT)
    • Knowledge in Android
    • Android architecture from Java service layer
    • Hands-on experience with RTOS
    • Command line tools knowledge
    • Experience working in international teams
