Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial solutions, including process design, architecture, and governance.
- Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for finance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and govern policies and standards for global finance processes.
- Resolve complex financial problems or transactions, requiring expertise in interpreting policies, guidelines, or processes.
- Manage one or more financial processes, reports, procedures, or products, and serve as an analytical or procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross-functional process or project deliverables.
- Supervise day-to-day work of junior-level employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably with advanced knowledge of financial processes and technology.
- Excellent relational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visual Studio, SAS, Knime, and Tableau.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial processes, including process alignment with regulators, data transformation, and data integrity.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Knime, R, Python, C++, and Visual Basic.
