Job Summary
The Process Engineer will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes that ensure safe and compliant product delivery to our customers. This position requires a professional with expertise in process development, optimization, and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend manufacturing process design events to ensure compliance with plant standards.
- Participate in the support of meeting production targets, including uptime and scrap reduction goals.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement welding, adhesive, and final assembly process equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, sustainability, and energy management requirements.
- Participate in near miss and continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain an ethical and professional conduct in all work activities.
- Comply with internal work regulations and plant policies.
- Ensure 100% quality product delivery to customers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of PCB cutting, adhesive dispensing, wave and selective soldering, final assembly, Epson robot, vision systems, and final assembly processes.
- Knowledge of applied statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of core tools and interaction with the quality system.
- Leadership skills for continuous improvement projects and implementation of standard activities in manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Ability to develop maintenance tasks for new equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Mechanics, or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams computer packages.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, peers, and technical support groups.
- Ability to program software on adhesive and assembly inspection equipment.
- Interpretation of electronic and pneumatic diagrams.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in English language.
- Knowledge of structured troubleshooting techniques.
