About the Role

The Software Engineer Sr C++ will be responsible for designing and developing custom software solutions for some of the world's largest retailers. This role will involve implementing medium to large-scale software solutions with significant architectural guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop product features in C++ using Object-Oriented principles
  • Develop and test/debug client- and server-side code
  • Resolve technical challenges requiring a narrow scope of domain and discipline knowledge
  • Demonstrate growth of expertise in a product line and scope of retail domain knowledge
  • Author and/or review release notes, test plans/cases, and functional specifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • +5 years of experience developing in C++
  • +5 years of Object-Oriented development
  • Fluent English
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, problem determination and debugging, attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git, SVN, etc.
  • Experience with Windows- and Linux-based operating systems, including software installation, light administration, and simple scripting
