Job Summary
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer who will provide overall leadership and management for EPI. This key role requires effective communication with the Board of Directors and stakeholders to determine strategic direction and achieve organizational goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations in Mexico, Costa Rica, and the US, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the organization.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement organizational strategy.
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels with staff, Board members, and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in governance and financial management.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong track record of leadership experience in a non-profit or similar sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizational settings.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, preferably in English and Spanish.
What We Offer
EPI offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $120,000 USD per annum, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.
The Chief Executive Officer will have the opportunity to work remotely from Missoula, Montana; La Paz, Mexico; or Central Valley, Costa Rica, with regular travel to program locations expected.
